Bringing your petition before the Alter
Petition: The Dictionary meaning of petition, is a formal application or entreaty to an authority, a written demand for action by a government signed by a number of people to present a petition to, or to ask humbly.
Your petition today is not however before any man, but before God and what kind of petition have you come with. Each individual petition depends on situation and circumstances you may at present going through, for example Hannah made a petition for the fruit of the womb at Shiloh, while others would have made petition for breakthroughs and prosperity in form of riches and honour, but what have you come before the Lord for today in form of your petition.
Types of Alter
1) Personal Alter
2) Specific ordained Alter
3) Church Alter
Personal alter or family alter, (a family that prays together stands together). This kind of alter is the one families are committed to use for quiet time, meditating on the word of God and for the use for prayers unto God that answers prayers, While Specific alters are ordained alters for specific sacrifice e.g Abram when he was instructed of God to sacrifice Isaac on the mount of moriah. The Church alters however is self explicit, and very common in all our churches for the purpose of sacrifice etc.

1) For Divine health
2) Freedom from oppression & Depression
3) Liberty from every bondage
4) Salvation & deliverance for loved ones
5) Financial breakthroughs & Freedom
6) God being an enemy to your enemies
7) Angels being dispatched to lead you
THERE ARE CONDITIONS BEFORE PETITION COULD BE HONOURED
Hannah: She made a vow and also fulfilled the vow- 1 Sam 1 11-24-28
Solomon: He made a special sacrifice on high place…. A thousand burnt offering.. 1 kings 3:4
Note: For petition to be answered there must be a sacrifice on the alter. Abraham sacrificed Isaac on Moriah.. Gen 22:15. God sacrificed His only begotten son… Matt 3: 16 After Sacrifice is Divine Visitation; God visited Solomon because of his special sacrifice which thrilled God to come down because of the uniqueness of it… 1kings 3:5-10
